Jill Proudfoot

Jill is a very special kind of a Change Agent for HEART Movement. Though not a community champion, she has kept the torch of the HEART work burning and growing over the last few years. She has been involved with HEART Movement from day one, in her role as the Client Service Manager, at Shine.

Jill has worked for 15 years with SHINE and started her career as an advocate based in Glen Innes at Te Waipuna Puawai. Jill is retiring this month, and we wanted to take this time to acknowledge her role in growing the sector nationally and contributing to developing the HEART Movement.

Jill has one of the founding members of the HEART Advisory Group and has kept her commitment and involvement with the programme through all these years. A huge thank you to Jill from all of us for encouraging and supporting not only the programme but both Nandita and Roi in their work in the community. We will miss you a lot. Your humility, your very considerate way of interacting in relationships, and your warmth and kindness will be missed. Jill, we take this opportunity to wish you all the best for this new chapter in your life and hope that HEART will continue to be part of your journey.
