ATWC Winter Wonderland 2021

On the 26th of June, the Anglican Trust for Women and Children (ATWC) bought back their Winter Wonderland for 2021. A free family day filled with fun activities and free pajamas for all those attending.

We had the pleasure of supporting ATWC as the 2020 Winter Wonderland had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 restrictions. NZ Police was out cooking sausages provided by Pak n Save Glen Innes on the HEART Movement BBQ.

There was a steady stream of the Tamaki community that filled the Glen Innes Community Centre enjoying live music, getting their faces painted, getting their heart rate going during the Zumba session, and in amongst the giveaways. At one point there were well over 100 people at Winter Wonderland. There was a little bit for everyone to enjoy, and the best part was that it was all FREE! Sometimes the biggest obstacle stopping families from enjoying a day out is money and being able to support ATWC was an honour. Looking forward to 2022!
