Celebration of Women

This year we celebrated International Women’s Day in the community with a special Mana Wahine gathering and Wānanga. We had ladies from the PACIFICA Tamaki branch attend, alongside children and youth from the Tāmaki community.

Poi making, mirimiri, breastfeeding workshops, a kids zone, local entertainment, speakers, and yummy kai provided by Kauri and Co! Eastview Reserve was filled with so much love and laughter. A day to celebrate being a woman. What a beautiful way to celebrate, with the women in the community!
