HEART Colouring Tāmaki

Our beloved HEART barbeque trailer has been serving the community for years. We decided it’s in need of a revamp and instead of painting it quietly in a garage; we made a big song and dance about painting it. We held an event called Colouring Tāmaki to coincide with the Panmure children’s market, and repainted our barbeque trailer and gave it a fresh look.

We had loads of fun and the children as well as the adults enjoyed the freedom of putting their hand painting on the BBQ. We had asked people to share something nice their parents had done for them. There was the usual HEART face painter Michelle who has now been facing painting for HEART events since our first event in 2012.
